Grady Wachob, a junior at Benicia High in California, won the boys high jump with a 6-5 (1.96m) clearance on the first attempt at the Stanford Invitational at Cobb Track and Angell Field in Palo Alto, Calif. Wachob prevailed on fewer misses against Alexander Dillon of Milpitas High.
